HLMP- AB11- L0T00 - Oval Precision Optical Performance AlInGaP and InGaN Lamps These precision optical performance oval LEDs are specially designed for full color/video and passenger information signs. The oval-shaped radiation pattern (35° x 70°) and high luminous intensity ensure that these devices are excellent for wide viewing in outdoor applications. Wide viewing angles are essential for readability in sunlight. These lights have very smooth, matched radiation ensuring a consistent pattern for full-color color mixing applications, with messages evenly marked across viewing angles.
High-efficiency LED materials are used in these lamps: aluminum gallium indium phosphide (using AlInGaP) for yellow and red, and indium gallium nitride (indium gallium nitride) for blue and green. Each lamp advances optical grade epoxy products for superior high temperature and high moisture resistance outdoor applications. "The epoxy wrap contains UV-A and UV-B inhibitors to reduce the long-term effects of direct sunlight. Designers can choose side-by-side or vertical orientations. Two tinted light versions.
