MC33143-Dual High Side Switch...
The MC33143 is a dual high side switch, solenoid valve control designed for demanding automotive applications but well suited for other environments. Devices can also be used to control small motors and relays as well as solenoids. MC33143 adopts SMARTMOSE technology, CMOS logic circuit, analog circuit, bipolar/MOS and DMOS power output. An internal charge pump is incorporated into the high-efficiency gate-enhanced internal high-side power output device. The output design current provides a low impedance solenoid. The MC33143 provides individual output fault status reporting with internal overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The device also features overvoltage protection, auto-recovery, "globally" disabling both outputs during overvoltage conditions. Each output has individual over-current and over-temperature automatic shutdown, and then retry to recover. The output is high with CMOS logic suitable for enabling logic control by providing a true input signal. The output, at power-on, provides the full power (battery) voltage across the solenoid. The MC33143 is an economical 24-pin surface mount power package in a package and is specified for a multi-operating voltage of 5.5 V 3 VPwr <26 V at -40°C to 3 TA 3 at 125°C.
