The TMUX7208 is a precision 8:1 single-channel multiplexer, while the TMUX7209 is a 4:1 2-channel multiplexer with low on-resistance and charge injection. These devices operate on a single supply (4.5 V to 44 V), dual supply (±4.5 V to ±22 V), or asymmetrical supplies (eg V DD = 12 V, V SS = –5 V). The TMUX720x supports the AD5624RBRMZ-3 bidirectional analog and digital signals on the source (Sx) and drain (D) pins, ranging from V SS to V DD.

The TMUX720x are part of a family of precision switches and multiplexers that feature very low switch leakage currents, making them useful in high-precision measurement applications. The TMUX72xx family provides latch-up immunity against unwanted high-current events between parasitic structures within the device that are often caused by overvoltage events. A latch-up condition typically persists until the power rail is turned off and can cause the device to malfunction. Latch-up immunity allows the TMUX72xx series of switches and multiplexers to be used in harsh environments.
