The PCM6020-Q1 is a 2-channel high-performance audio analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that supports analog input signals up to 10 V RMS. The PCM6020-Q1 supports line and microphone inputs, and supports single-ended and differential input configurations. The device offers integrated high-voltage, programmable microphone bias and input diagnostic circuitry, allowing direct connection to microphone-based automotive systems, and full troubleshooting capabilities for direct-coupled inputs. The PCM6020-Q1 integrates a high-efficiency boost converter to generate high-voltage microphone bias using an external low-voltage 3.3V supply, which is readily available in the system to generate high-voltage, programmable microphone bias. The PCM6020-Q1 integrates programmable channel gain, digital volume control, low jitter phase locked loop (PLL), programmable high pass filter (HPF), A3984SLPTR-T biquad filter, low latency filter mode, and allows up to 768 kHz sample rate. The PCM6020-Q1 supports Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), I2S or Left Justified (LJ) audio formats and can be controlled via an I2C or SPI interface. These integrated high-performance features and 3.3V single-supply operation make the PCM6020-Q1 device and PCM6xx0-Q1 device family an excellent choice for scalable, space-constrained automotive systems.
