realme Buds Air 2 Neo low latency, affordable quiet sound!
This year, realme not only has the "cheapest" S888 model, the realme GT, but also the realme Watch S Pro that we have introduced for smart wearable devices. A little while ago, we finally launched three products in one go for the earphones that are available almost every year. This time we are going to introduce the realme Buds Air 2 Neo with a new design. In addition to the active anti-noise function, the main e-sports mode is also more evolved, which further reduces the sense of delay, and the price of 1,500 has a very good price/performance ratio! In this article, in addition to the unpacking and actual measurement of the realme Buds Air 2 Neo, there are also specifications upgrades and an introduction to the cheaper realme Buds Q2 out of the box.
The overall touch area of the realme Buds Air 2 Neo is quite large, and the operation sensitivity is also good, but due to the appearance design, there is a small disadvantage that people have to ignore... This will be explained later.
The design of the charging box is also based on the cobblestone design of the realme Bud Q at that time, with a status indicator at the front of the flat lay, and a USB-C port at the rear. The official charging data is that the headset can be fully charged in 1.5 hours, the B3F-1122 can fully charge the charging box and the headset in 2 hours, and the headset can be played for 3 hours after 10 minutes of charging (50% volume and AAC sound quality). 5 hours, 7 hours with noise reduction turned off, and 20 / 28 hours with the charging case. It is the product with the longest battery life of realme's true wireless earphones.
The design of the interior is similar to that of general true wireless earphones, and the physical key is located in the center of the box. It can be seen that the design of the realme Buds Air 2 Neo earphone body is different from previous models.
The realme Buds Air 2 Neo treats the touch area with a mirror material this time, which not only looks beautiful, but also allows the fingers to feel different textures during actual touch, and can quickly find the operation area. Really want to talk about the disadvantage, it should be that the mirror surface is super easy to get fingerprints... The outside is equipped with noise reduction and call mic.
On the inside of the headset are the magnetic charging contacts, two tuning cavities, and so on. The built-in monomer is a 10mm Hi-Fi Bass, which is the same size as the Buds Air 2, but the material is not a DLC-like diamond diaphragm, but an LCP liquid crystal polymer. Another upgrade this time is the delay improvement of the gaming mode. to 88ms, which is higher than the 94ms of the Buds Air Pro.
There are also obvious differences in the design of the charging box. It can be seen that the shape of the Buds Q2 is closer to the oval shape; but perhaps due to the price, the charging port is still microUSB, not the current mainstream USB-C. The battery life is up to 20 hours (including the charging box), and the delay in the gaming mode has also been upgraded to 88ms.
The design of the earphones is also the biggest difference between the predecessors and the offspring, using a heterogeneous design similar to the Buds Air Neo.
Take a closer look, there is a bit of plastic transparent texture on the inside, and with a special texture.
Black has a texture similar to a diamond cut, which means that I like black more... It feels less dirty.
At present, realme's earphones all support Google Fast Pair technology, which can be quickly paired with the realme Link APP; however, the iOS APP does not support it, and can only be connected through general Bluetooth, and detailed functions cannot be operated.
After the Android connection is successful, you can see whether the noise reduction settings, sound effects and gaming mode are turned on; the focus is still on the detailed adjustment of the headset control.
The original settings of the key combination are as follows. The key point is that the gaming mode can be used as a part of the shortcut keys. Unfortunately, iOS cannot be adjusted through the APP. I hope the official can update it as soon as possible~
In the actual listening part, the realme Buds Air 2 Neo has the same tuning style as its predecessors. They are all set with emphasis on bass, which is quite suitable for listening to EDM or popular songs; and the realme Buds that were not tested this time. Air 2 even found a well-known DJ Chainsmokers for tuning, I don't know if the Buds Air 2 Neo is tuned... In addition, although the noise reduction part is compared to the previous generation 35db -ic/" title="35db model" >35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db -ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic /" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db-ic/" title= "35db model">35db-ic/" title="35db model">35db is reduced to 25db, but with the in-ear design, the performance of isolating noise is quite impressive.
Overall, realme Buds Air Neo has a high cost performance, and this time the focus is on the young trend design that is close to the brand image, and highlights such as delay and battery life upgrade; but the noise reduction specifications are slightly lower than the previous generation. The unique charging box and earphone storage design, sometimes when I open it, it is easy to slip by hand, and the earphone and the box fall directly... This is the part that I feel most uncomfortable with.
