The LMT70 is an ultra-small, high-accuracy, low-power CMOS analog temperature sensor with an output enable pin. Applications for the LMT70 include virtually any type of ADP1715ARMZ-R7 temperature sensor that requires cost-effective, high-accuracy, and low-power consumption, such as Internet of Things (IoT) sensor nodes, medical thermometers, high-precision instruments, and battery-powered devices. The LMT70 is also an excellent replacement for RTDs and precision NTC/PTC thermistors.
Its output enable pin allows multiple LMT70s to share a single ADC channel, simplifying ADC calibration and reducing overall system cost for precision temperature sensing. The LMT70 also features linear and low-impedance outputs for seamless interfacing with off-the-shelf MCUs/ADCs. The LMT70 consumes less than 36μW and has ultra-low self-heating, supporting its high accuracy over a wide temperature range.
The LMT70A provides unmatched 0.1°C (max) temperature matching performance for two adjacent LMT70As picked from the same reel. Therefore, the LMT70A is an ideal solution for energy metering applications requiring heat transfer calculations.
