Fabricated on a new complementary silicon germanium (SiGe) BiCom-III process, the THS7353 is a low-power, single-supply 2.7V to 5V, 3-channel integrated AO3403L video buffer. Each channel of the THS7353 is individually I 2 C configured for all functions, making it suitable for any application. Its rail-to-rail output stage allows both AC and DC coupled applications. Externally controlled gain adjustment pins allow fine tuning of gain, such as line drive, cable loss compensation or Sin-X/X compensation.

As part of the flexibility of the THS7353, a 2:1 multiplexer input can be selected for AC or DC coupled inputs. AC coupled modes include sync end clamp options for CVBS/Y'/G'B'R' with sync or fixed bias for C'/P' B/P' R channels. DC input options include DC input or DC +250 mV input offset offset to allow full synchronous dynamic range at the output with 0-V input.

The THS7353 is the perfect choice for all video buffer applications. 16.2mA total quiescent current (54mW total power) makes it an excellent choice for USB powered or portable video applications. When fully disabled, the THS7353 consumes less than 1 μA.
