The TMP75B is an integrated digital temperature sensor with a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a 1.8V supply and is pin and register compatible with the industry standard LM75 and TMP75. The device is available in SOIC-8 and VSSOP-8 packages and can sense temperature without external components. The TMP75B is capable of reading temperature with a resolution of 0.0625°C and is rated for a temperature range of –55°C to +125°C.

The TMP75B is SMBus and two-wire interface compatible, and allows up to 8 devices on the same bus with SMBus overheating alert. Programmable temperature limits and an ALERT pin allow the AD5293BRUZ-20 sensor to operate as a stand-alone thermostat, or as an overtemperature alarm for power throttling or system shutdown.

Factory-calibrated temperature accuracy and a noise-immune digital interface make the TMP75B the preferred solution for temperature compensation of other sensors and electronics without the need for additional system-level calibration or complex board layouts for distributed temperature sensing.

The TMP75B is ideal for thermal management and protection in a variety of consumer, computer, communications, industrial and environmental applications.
