The ISO676x devices are high-performance, six-channel AP1122EL-13 digital isolators ideal for cost-sensitive applications requiring isolation ratings up to 5000 V RMS per UL 1577. These devices are also VDE, TUV, CSA and CQC certified.

ISO676x devices offer high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions at low power consumption while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O. Each isolated channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by TI's dual-capacitor silicon dioxide (SiO 2 ) isolation barrier. The ISO676x family of devices can be used in all possible pin configurations so that all six channels are in the same direction, or one, two or three channels are in the reverse direction and the remaining channels are in the forward direction. In the event of input power or loss of signal, the default output for devices without the suffix F is high, and the default output for devices with the suffix F is low. See the Device Functional Modes section for details.

Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices help protect against data buses (e.g. UART, SPI, RS-485, RS-232 models">RS-232 models">RS-232 models">RS-232 models>RS Noise currents on -232 models > RS-232 and CAN) damage sensitive circuits. Through innovative chip design and layout techniques, the electromagnetic compatibility of ISO676x devices has been significantly enhanced to simplify system-level ESD, EFT, surge and radiation compliance. The ISO676x family of devices is packaged in a 16-pin SOIC wide body (DW) package and is a pin-to-pin upgrade from older generations.
