Application of nitric oxide sensor in medical breath analyzer
Feno assay is widely used in the diagnosis and monitoring of airway inflammation, and is a novel, non-invasive and convenient biomarker detection method. Medical nitric oxide detector (NO breath analyzer) is one of the few, widely used in the detection of respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
As an important physiological process of the human body, respiration is one of the ways in which the internal environment of the human body exchanges substances with the outside world. As early as the early 18th century, researchers discovered that differences in exhaled odors indicated the development of certain diseases. With the development of modern medicine, more and more disease-related markers are found in exhaled breath. For example, nitric oxide (NO) and carbon monoxide (CO) in exhaled breath are associated with airway inflammation, and changes in the concentration and type of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled breath are associated with cancer.
In contrast to invasive detection techniques, breath gas analysis is the quantitative and qualitative detection of specific markers associated with disease. Its advantages of non-invasiveness and convenience can be used for early detection of disease, disease course monitoring and prognostic management, and it has great potential in clinical application. Since this century, NO testing has developed rapidly and has become a routine clinical testing service for patients with respiratory diseases.
Due to the aging of the population, air pollution and other reasons, the population of airway inflammatory diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma patients, chronic cough patients, etc.) is increasing in China.
Feno (Fractionalexhalednitricoxide, Feno) detection, that is, the detection of exhaled nitric oxide. Nitric oxide plays an important role in various physiological links in the body. Exhaled nitric oxide levels increase when the body is in a state of inflammation caused by airway disease. Therefore, Feno assay is widely used in the diagnosis and monitoring of airway inflammation, and it is a novel, non-invasive and convenient biomarker detection method. Simply put, the Feno test is a way to assess the severity of airway inflammation.
Expiratory molecular diagnosis is an effective means to detect diseases of the digestive system and respiratory system, and is used for medical research and clinical examination of diseases such as cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, kidney and liver, diabetes, and cancer. It is expected to be used for primary screening and home self-examination of common diseases, frequently-occurring diseases, chronic diseases, epidemic diseases, and occupational diseases. From 2010 to 2015, all provinces and cities across the country included medical fees. Charge Name: Nitric Oxide Breath Test Charge Code: 310601013 or FJE02407.
Molecular breath diagnostics should accurately identify biomarker molecules that represent only one part in 100 million or volume concentration from thousands of breath molecules. There are few products in China that can realize this high-precision test function. Medical nitric oxide detector (NO breath analyzer) is one of the few, widely used in the detection of respiratory diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
In conclusion, medical nitric oxide detectors (NO breath analyzers) provide a range of testing services to help patients diagnose and manage asthma more effectively.
How to use the nitric oxide detector (NO breath analyzer):
1) Take a seat and rest quietly for 5 minutes;
2) Exhale slowly to empty your lungs as much as possible;
3) Select the test item, enter the information, perform the test according to the equipment prompt, wrap the mouthpiece of the measuring instrument with the mouth, ensure that the NO concentration in the inhaled gas is lower than 5ppb, and forcefully inhale the total lung capacity (TLC);
4) Steady at a constant flow rate of 50ml /s (±5%), slowly exhale for 10s while keeping the helicopter within the upper and lower limits of the screen (up and down line), until the helicopter stops exhaling from the left to the right of the screen. At this point, the device starts analyzing the results, and the device displays the measurement results. At this point, the measurement is completed. Click to return to the user information input interface or click Remeasure to remeasure;
5) Equipment analysis results, about 60s display the detection and analysis results.
Precautions:
1) The indoor air NO concentration is less than 5ppb.
2) Do not drink alcohol within 4 hours.
3) Do not eat within 1 hour, and do not eat foods containing nitrates within 2 hours.
4) Do not exercise vigorously within 1 hour.
5) Pay attention to asking patients about their smoking history and hormone use, and whether they have done pulmonary function tests.

It has been listed in more than 60 countries in the world, including Europe, the United States, Japan and other developed countries, with more than 50 million uses. Most of China's Several tertiary hospitals use Feno detection. Application of nitric oxide sensor in exhaled nitric oxide detector (Feno): NO-B4 (NO sensor) is recommended.
NO-B4 is a high-resolution nitric oxide sensor, 7 series size, can detect 15ppb NO gas, very suitable for various NO gas monitoring systems and instruments.
