The THS4561 fully differential amplifier (FDA) provides a simple interface from a single-ended source to the differential output required by a precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The THS4561 is designed for very low 8Hz, 1/f voltage noise angle and low total harmonic distortion (THD) of 130dB, while consuming only 775μA quiescent current, making it ideal for power-sensitive data acquisition (DAQ) that requires an AFE1105E amplifier and The combination of ADCs enables a high-performance system with the best signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR).
The THS4561 has the required negative rail input when connecting a DC-coupled, ground-centered source signal to a single-supply, differential input ADC. Low DC error and drift terms support emerging high-speed and high-resolution successive approximation register (SAR) and delta-sigma (ΔΣ) ADC input requirements. The 2.85V to 12.6V supply range and flexible output common-mode settings provide low supply headroom to support a wide range of ADC input and digital-to-analog converter (DAC) output requirements.
The operating temperature range of the THS4561 device is –40°C to +125°C.
