The OPA2673 provides the high output current and low distortion required for power line modem drivers and test and measurement applications. The OPA2673 operates from a 5.75V to 13V supply and consumes a low quiescent current of 16.5mA/channel to provide a very high output current of 700mA. The OPA2673 can support the most demanding power line modem requirements with a guaranteed minimum output current drive of 460 mA (at 25 °C).
Power control features are included to minimize system power consumption. Two logic control lines allow four static power settings: full power, 75% bias power, 50% bias power, and offline mode with active offline control, which presents high impedance even with large signals on the output pins. The two channels of the OPA2673 can be used independently as separate AD260BND-3 op amps, or can be configured as a differential input to differential output high current line driver.
