The TPSM8286xA device family includes 4A and 6A buck converter power modules optimized for small solution size and high efficiency. The power module integrates the ADR363BUJZ-REEL7 synchronous buck converter and inductor to simplify design, reduce external components, and save PCB area. Low profile and compact solution for automated assembly of standard surface mount equipment.

Tight output voltage accuracy is achieved even with small output capacitors through the DCS-Control architecture and its excellent load transient performance. The converter operates in PWM mode at moderate to heavy loads and automatically enters a power save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. These devices can also be forced to operate in PWM mode for minimal output voltage ripple.

EN and PG pins support sequencing configuration, allowing flexible system design. Integrated soft-start reduces inrush current required from the input power supply. Overheat protection and hiccup short circuit protection provide a robust and reliable solution.
