Instructions
ds1624 consisting of a digital thermometer and a 256 -byte E2 memory. The thermometer provides 13 temperature reading, indicating the temperature of the device. E2 memory allows users to store frequency compensation coefficients for digital correction of crystal frequency caused by temperature.
Any other types of information can also be stayed in this user space.
Overview
The frame diagram of DS1624 is shown in Figure 1. DS1624 consists of two independent functional units: 1) 256 bytes of non -loss E2 memory, 2) Direct digital temperature sensor.
Non -loss -loss memory consists of 256 byte E2 memory. The memory can be used to store any type of information that users want; for example, the frequency compensation coefficient can be placed in the memory to allow the measured frequency to compensate the measurement according to the temperature to be measured. These memory positions are accessed through the 2 -line serial bus.
Direct to the digital temperature sensor allows DS1624 to measure the ambient temperature and report the temperature value of 13 -digit words, with a resolution of 0.03125 ° C. The temperature sensor and its related registers are accessed via 2 -line serial interface.

2 line serial data bus
DS1624 supports two -way dual -line bus and data transmission protocol. The device that sends data to the bus is defined as a transmitter, and the device that receives data is defined as a receiver. The device that controls messages is called host ". The device controlled by the main device is "from the device ". The bus must be controlled by a main device. The main device generates serial clock (SCL)
