FAN3225, FAN3224 Dual-Channel Single/Dual Input, 4A Low-Side Gate Driver
The FAN3224T/FAN3225T devices are dual 4A output, low-side gate drivers. Drives low-side switching N-channel enhancement mode MOSFETs to provide high peak current pulses for short switching intervals. The driver provides TTL input thresholds, and internal circuitry keeps the output low until the supply voltage is within operating range, providing an undervoltage lockout function. In addition, the driver is also targeted at gate drives that require tight timing, such as a synchronous rectifier that needs to provide matched internal propagation delays between the A and B channels. This allows two drivers to be paralleled, effectively increasing the current capability of driving a single MOSFET by one. times.
