AMC1200BDWVR ±250mV Input Basic Isolation Amplifier for Current Sensing
The AMC1200 and AMC1200B are high precision isolation amplifiers that isolate the output and input circuits by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) isolation barrier with high magnetic field immunity. This barrier is certified/certified to UL1577 and VDE V 0884-10 and provides galvanic isolation up to 4250 VPEAK (AMC1200B) or 4000 VPEAK (AMC1200). Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices prevent noise currents on common-mode high-voltage lines from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits.
The input of the AMC1200 or AMC1200B is optimized for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low voltage level signal sources. The high performance of the device enables precise/accurate current control, which reduces system-level power consumption (especially in motor control applications) and reduces torque ripple. Automatically adjusts the common-mode voltage of the output signal to 3V or
5V low-side supply voltage.
The AMC1200 and AMC1200B are fully rated for operation over the extended industrial temperature range (–40°C to 105°C) and are available in wide-body 8-pin Small Outline Integrated Circuit (SOIC) (DWV) packages as well as gullwing 8 (DUB) packages.
