SEN-17372 Sensor Breakout Board
Four breakout boards have been developed for the low profile PIR sensor. Two of the boards have Qwiic connectors for quick and easy product development, and the other two have header pins for integration into breadboards for development. The SEN-17373 and SEN-17375 feature Panasonic's EKM series of PIR sensors, designed for battery-powered applications, with a standby current consumption of only 1 μA. The SEN-17372 and SEN-17374 are designed for continuously powered projects with low standby current consumption of 170 μA. The PIR sensor provides digital output across 32 zones within a 90° x 90° detection area at a maximum detection distance of 5 m. Instead of returning specific distance data, these sensors send an activation signal when motion is detected within their sensing range.
