Image of Hirose's TF31 series connectors Hirose's TF31 series connectors are available in 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm contact pitches and 1.75 mm and 2.0 mm height variations. These options allow engineers to choose the connector that best fits their design. These connectors feature Hirose's FPC/FFC side catcher technology, which enables tagged FPC/FFC to be placed in the correct position while achieving stability and excellent FPC/FFC retention. Each terminal is connected to the actuator, providing support for the entire length of the actuator. This prevents separation of the actuator from the housing. The actuator is designed to open approximately 110°, providing excellent FPC/FFC insertion maneuverability. The underside of the connector is overmolded, allowing PCB space below the connector for additional PCB routing.
