General description
AD5543/AD5553 is a precise 16/14 -bit, low power consumption, current output, small shape factor number modular converter. It is designed for a 5V power supply and a ± one ± 10V multiplier reference voltage work.
The external reference VREF determines the full marking output current. When combined with external op amps, internal feedback resistors (RFB) help R-2R and temperature tracking to achieve voltage conversion.
Serial data interfaces use serial data input (SDI), clock (CLK) and chip selection (CS) to provide high -speed and 3 -line microcontroller inputs.
AD5543/AD5553 uses an ultra-compact type (3 mm*4.7 mm) MSOP-8 and SOIC-8 packaging. 功能框图AD5543/AD5553–典型性能特征

AD5543/AD5553 contains 16/14 -bit, current output, digital modulus, serial input register and DAC register. Both converters use 3 -line serial data interfaces.
D/A converter segment
The DAC architecture uses a current-controlled R-2R trapezoidal design. Figure 4 shows a typical equivalent DAC structure. DAC contains a matching feedback resistor used with external computing amplifiers (see Figure 5). Through the RFB and IOUT terminals connect to the output and inverter node of the operation amplifier, the following accurate voltage output can be achieved:
Note that the output voltage pole and DC reference voltage VREF polarity is the opposite.
These digital converters are designed to work under negative or positive reference voltage. The VDD power pins are used by internal logic to drive the opening " and "off " state of the DAC switch.
Note that the matching switch is used in series with the internal 5 kΩ feedback resistor. If a user tries to measure RFB
