The LTC®6409 is a very high speed, low distortion differential amplifier. The device's input common-mode range includes ground, so a ground-referenced input signal can be DC-coupled, level-shifted, and shifted to differentially drive an ADC.

Gain and feedback resistors are external, allowing precise gain and frequency response for each application. For example, the amplifier can be externally compensated in a no-overshoot configuration, which is desirable in some time domain applications.

The LTC6409 has a stable differential gain of 1. This enables low output noise in those applications where gain is not required. The device draws 52mA of supply current and has a hardware shutdown feature that reduces current consumption to 100µA.

The LTC6409 is packaged in a compact 3mm x 2mm 10-pin leadless QFN package and operates over the –40oC to 125oC temperature range.
